Enjoy eating foods you love while achieving your health and weight goals
Tired of fad diets? Do you miss carbs? Let’s talk about the best way to meet your goals.
Following Fad Diets
Many fad diets restrict you from eating entire food groups, depleting your body of essential nutrients like fiber and other vitamins and minerals. Unfortunately, fad diets can also contribute to health problems, a lack of energy, and poor sleep habits.
Eating too few calories
Low-calorie diets may seem like the answer; however, in reality, they’re not sustainable and lead to unnecessary binging. In addition, low-calorie diets slow down the body’s metabolism, making it difficult to lose weight.
Missing the foods you love
The restriction of your favorite foods is usually associated with weight loss. These restrictions, though, can increase cravings and lead to binge eating. Additionally, preventing you from having your favorite foods does not translate into a healthy lifestyle and a healthy relationship with food.
Should I focus on Greens?
You will generally lose weight if you eat vegetables and only vegetables. However, in reality, this type of weight loss is unhealthy since you are depriving your body of crucial micronutrients, resulting in possible nutrient deficiencies. Therefore, vegetables should constitute a substantial portion of our diet, but we cannot ignore the benefits of the other food groups. Weight loss at the expense of our overall health is not recommended.
Should I eat more
Protein?
Start the day with a protein-rich breakfast and add protein to each of your meals and snacks during the day to maintain steady, sustained energy. In contrast to carbs, proteins do not spike your blood sugar, meaning you will not experience the roller coaster crash and burn that comes along with carbs.
My coaching process makes achieving your weight goals attainable. By teaching lifestyle changes, you’ll have the tools you need to live healthily and feed your body properly.
1:1 NUTRITIONAL COACHING
I’ve narrowed down my offer to two options. Each option will help you reach your goals at the most convenient pace.
This is a 3-month minimum coaching session led by a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified Nutrition Coach.
This coaching includes the following:
I have created this program to appeal to those who don’t need the accountability of a coach but would like personalized macros* that are geared towards their lifestyle and goals. You will learn to be your own coach.**
You will receive:
By eating this way, I can sometimes satisfy both the Macro-watching side of me, and the don't-want-to-adult-today side of me."
Thanks to your education around macros, I've learned that its not just about eating kale all day. It's about learning to make better choices to support my fitness goals and begin to see results.
Especially because of my 2 and 5-year-old children, proteins are easy to come by, but veggies are pretty limited for them. Your recipes look so good to me!
